How We Verify

Anyone can paste a coupon code onto a web page. The hard part is making sure it still works. This page explains exactly where CouponRock offers come from and what happens to them before and after they reach you.

Step 1: Official Sources Only

Every offer in our catalog originates from an official affiliate network feed, the distribution channel merchants use to publish their own promotions. We do not copy codes from other coupon sites, forums, or social media, and we do not auto-publish user submissions.

Step 2: Daily Synchronization

Our system synchronizes the full catalog against those feeds every day. New offers are added, changed offers are updated, and offers that disappear from a merchant feed are deactivated on CouponRock the same day.

Step 3: Expiration Handling

Codes with a known end date are retired automatically when the date passes. Recently expired codes remain visible in the Previously Featured section of a store page, clearly labeled with their expiration date. We keep them there for reference because shoppers often search for a code they saw last week, and an honest answer beats a silent removal.

What the Verified Badge Means

An offer marked Verified was present in the merchant’s official feed during our most recent synchronization, with the timestamp shown on the coupon card. It is not a guess and not a recycled claim.

What We Do Not Do

• No invented codes or placeholder deals to pad a page.
• No fake ratings, fake user counts, or countdown timers.
• No hiding of expiration dates.

Found a Code That Failed?

Feeds are updated by merchants, and a code can die between two synchronizations. If a code does not work at checkout, tell us through the Contact page with the store name and the code. We recheck reported offers and pull anything that no longer works.
